Bred from Rhode Island Red and Sussex, the Columbian Blacktail Hybrid is a gentle bird known to lay up to 280-300 light brown eggs annually. Additionally, all birds are vaccinated according to commercial standards. Similar in look to a utility Rhode Island Red. Sometimes known as the columbine. Easy going, no hassle birds.

Quality birds every time

Had two more birds from Charley Chuscks and once again quality of the birds were great. Now can’t wait for the blue egg layer to start laying. Definitely recommend to anybody looking for quality chickens food or supplies.

Beautiful birds

We’ve had 4 hens from Jeff now, they’re all lovely, strong and healthy girls. The original 2 started to lay beautiful eggs after about a month, as I’m sure the new baby girls will. I recommend Jeff to everyone, he’s very knowledgable and takes real pride in his birds. Thank you!

Sorry I cant, they only become available once in a while, there were none at all last year. We do have Americana which lay blue eggs in stock, they are quite large for bantams and will mix easily with any other breed.
