Collection Policy

If you have opted to collect your goods and they are in stock they can be collected when you book your appointment.  If you have pre-ordered out of stock items you will receive an email when when your goods can be collected.

Livestock that is in stock must be collected within 7 days of order completion and pre-ordered livestock within 7 days of our notification to collect.  Livestock not collected in that period may be offered up for resale (we will credit your account) and/or further charges will be applied due to feed costs incurred, e.g. £1.50 per week, per bird until collected.    Late cancelation of appointments may incur further cost if livestock is caught ready for collection and not collected.

If you want Poultry Delivered - you need to arrange yourself via HighFlyers

Delivery (Express delivery) Charges will vary from item to item.

 If pallet delivery is not possible on the notified date, a re-delivery will be charged at £25.

Raw dog food - shipped Mon-Thurs for next day delivery Tues-Frid.

Biological control 1-8 day lead time, eg. live insects shipped wed-thurs based on orders received previous week.

UK Delivery Charges are for England and Wales. N. Ireland, Scotland, Cornwall may attract extra charges for remote locations.  Goods over 5Kg Delivery not available for N. Ireland, Scottish Islands, IOW for these zones contact us for a cost.  EU delivery charges are  restricted to certain EU countries - contact us for further rates if required.   

Free shipping applies to mainland UK only, some large items may incur an extra charge for the Scottish Highlands.

Orders to Northern Ireland must have an order value is less than £130 due to post brexit rules.

Express UK Pallet delivery aims to be in 5 working days of placing your order, however we can not guarantee delivery within these times if the pallet network is busy.  If you live down a narrow lane/access is difficult - you MUST inform us immediately you place your order - if the driver cannot access your property due to the lorry being too large - we will invoice you for re-delivery via a smaller vehicle.  If a 7.5t vehicle is unable to access your property, you will be advised to collect the good from your local depot or nearest delivery address, or they will be returned to us and we will offer a refund on the goods.  Please ensure you are available on the day of the scheduled delivery or a safe place has been communicated to us.

UK wooden coop delivery is direct from our wholesale distributer, they aim to ship for next day delivery providing orders are placed before midday.

Smaller items ie less than 20Kg are shipped by Royal Mail or ERVI depending on which service you choose.  We reserve the right to change the service if one is performing better or inaccessible for operational reasons.
