We have been looking for blue egg layers for over a year since our previous blue layers died. Two weeks ago we collected a couple of Emerald's from Chartley's. Finally found a beautiful blue egg on Wednesday much to the delight of the grandkids. Unfortunately yesterday we had a blue egg - and a white egg! We are disappointed, is there a possibility the shell colour will change as she gets older?
Absolutely lovely birds a fantastic addition to our little flock I thought it would take a while for them to settle in but by day two they were happy dust bathing with the turkey and the other girls, we are now waiting in anticipation for there first egg 🥚. I can not praise chartley chucks enough, we have always had happy hens with amazing personalities from you Thankyou
Beautiful birds, wasn't expecting any eggs for several weeks but they laid their first one yesterday! Proud momma moment!
Sorry I cant, they only become available once in a while, there were none at all last year. We do have Americana which lay blue eggs in stock, they are quite large for bantams and will mix easily with any other breed.
