These chickens vary batch to batch, supplier to supplier, they have varying plumage, they could be known as Emerald, Sapphire, Cheshire blue - this means could be any colour - if that's important contact us before ordering.

Often developed from French Araucana and vaccinated to commercial standards.

Blue Egg laying crosses laying up to 260-280 Blue eggs.

These hybrids are hardy enough to withstand even the toughest environmental conditions, ensuring a safe and high-quality eggs for your table.

Please bring a suitable box or purchase an appropriate sized box from us to transport your birds home.

Eggs should be blue or green, but in rare instances other colours. Sorry but we can't guarantee egg colour.

5 Lovely Ladies

I was recommended Chartley Chucks for POL chickens and they did not disappoint. I picked up 5 Silver Sussex Hybrids on a Friday afternoon, and was greeted with an egg within an hour of them getting home. After initial shyness, they have all settled in very well and laying approx 25 eggs per week. Ordering and collecting from Chartley Chucks was very straight forward, I would highly recommend them for quality, healthy hens.

New girls

We have added to our flock, two Colombian black tail and two copper marans settled in nicely👍🏻 still a pecking order but they are holding their own which is a good sign and are friendly and coming back to the ccop when called or just following the leader🤣 Thank you Jeff the girls are perfect 👌.

Sorry I cant, they only become available once in a while, there were none at all last year. We do have Americana which lay blue eggs in stock, they are quite large for bantams and will mix easily with any other breed.
