Red mite coop/house infections are really bad this year due to the extreme weather and its catching lots of people out. If you have an old wooden coop (ie not brand new this year) and you have not taken any precautions against red mite - you can pretty much guarantee you have them, if in small numbers that will rapidly change to a tsunami.
